As a student in our sailing navigation classes, I've found the Weems and Plath RoadRule to be an incredibly useful tool. It's like having a portable reference library for all the essential rules of the road. I especially appreciate how it simplifies complex navigation regulations, making them easier to understand and apply, particularly when we're discussing collision avoidance and right-of-way scenarios in class. The clear diagrams and concise explanations have been invaluable in solidifying my understanding of these critical concepts. I also find it helpful for quick reference during practical exercises and even while out on the water. It's much more convenient than flipping through a bulky textbook.

The RoadRule is well-constructed and seems quite durable. My only word of caution and this is something to keep in mind, is that it's best not to leave it baking in direct sunlight, like on a boat dashboard, or exposed on deck for extended periods. Like most plastic items, excessive heat could potentially cause warping or damage. However, with a little common-sense care, this shouldn't be an issue. Overall, I highly recommend the Weems and Plath RoadRule to anyone studying or practicing sailing navigation.
